“Controlled Hand Forging” is a series of forging lessons written by a committee of blacksmiths. These lessons are targeted to teach forging processes, not style of motif(s), or classic style(s).
The committee consists of primarily professional working blacksmiths, and some amateurs (one who does something as a pastime rather than a profession) who have been forging for decades. They are like-minded individuals, believing that understanding process is highly important to forging. Disciplining yourself to practice these forging fundamentals will allow you to explore many aspects of forging style as a result.
